Wasted Water


A recent report from the Stockholm International Water Institute: Saving Water: From Field to Folk - Curbing Losses and Wastage in the Food Chain, raises many important issues. The report highlights the rampant waste of food, and by extension water in the food system, from field to folk. In a water scarce world that will need to increase food production in the next half century and beyond, every drop of water will count.
